The all white trend
One can say that currently, white is having a “moment”. Others might argue that white’s moment never really passed. Indeed the all white interiors trend is one that we see over and over again, truly standing the test of time. Here are some of our tips on how to make this trend work for your space and how to select the best materials.
In the Kitchen:
Veined materials such as marble or marble lookalike quartz look great in an all white kitchen. Whilst maintaining the cleanliness of the all white feel, the veining of the material acts as a focal point. Are you afraid of stains? Engineered stone such as Dekton and Silestone are highly stain resistant. So no need to panic if you spill some tomato juice. It will wash off without staining.

In the bathroom:
White is the colour of cleanliness…..and let’s face it… cleanliness is essential in the bathroom. Think about it, most bathroom fixtures such as sinks and the toilet already come in white. So going for an all white bathroom look will be easier than you thought. Add white tiles, a white vanity area and some white towels and you’ve got yourself a clean and relaxing oasis, irrespective of the size of your room.
General Tips
There is no need to match white.
There are 50 (or more) shades of white ranging from warm to cold tonalities and your space need not incorporate just one shade of white. Layering different shades of white in a room will add depth and warmth to your space.
Add touches of colour.
Ok, this might go against the whole “all white” concept. But really, your house, your rules. Do not be afraid to add touches of colour (brights or neutral) in the room. Be it a plant, a piece of wood furniture or some soft furnishings. The best thing about white is that it basically goes with everything.
