Spanish multinational Group Cosentino, recently showcased its brand new, innovative Dekton Bathroom concept at the Milan International Bathroom Exhibition during Milan Design Week. Cosentino is the world leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design.  Since its launch 2 years ago, the first ultra-compact surface Dekton has become extremely popular for kitchen top, flooring, wall cladding and facades. The new bathroom collection, will turn the bathroom into a space which can be customized to the limit whilst maintaining top performance in terms of design, cleaning and durability.

Dekton by Cosentino is exclusively available in Malta from Halmann Vella.cosentino-2

During the Exhibition, Dekton presented two wash basins, two designer bath tubs as well as a new shower concept, the “walk in shower.” This shower is ideal for people with reduced mobility, due to its ground level installation, a characteristic which also increases spaciousness in the room. The new collection merges the current Bathroom collection of Silestone with Dekton. Both materials can be used to make a whole bathroom from the same material, creating a sense of continuity in the space. Customers can now choose between over 30 different Dekton colours and textures to create their own, unique bathroom, whether they are going for an urban and minimalistic look, or a more elegant or luxurious style.

Dekton is a sophisticated blend of the raw materials used to produce the very latest in glass and porcelain as well as the highest quality quartz surfaces. It is available in large slabs-maximum 320x144cm, reducing the number of joints necessary. Slabs can be either 0.8cm, 1.2cm or 2cm thick. Dekton is resistant to UV rays, scratches, stains, thermal shock and water. Dekton employs exclusive Sinterized Particle Technology, making this a unique innovation in the development of low maintenance and long lasting surfaces.
