Halmann Vella appoint new Director of Sales and Business Management

Halmann Vella Ltd. has appointed Owen Farrugia to Director of Sales and Business Management. In his new role Owen will oversee the implementation and monitoring of the company’s growth strategy both locally and overseas.

Whilst congratulating him on his appointment Halmann Vella Ltd CEO, Joseph Tabone said that “Owen’s appointment forms part of our commitment to strengthen our sales and business management unit. Given his experience and knowledge of the industry, Owen will greatly contribute towards our strategic growth vision for the future.”

Owen Farrugia has a wealth of experience in the construction industry, especially in stone and architectural materials. He joined the Halmann Vella Group in 2002 where he worked in both production and sales, holding managerial positions in the both areas. This enabled him to gain a full understanding of the company’s multifaceted products and services. During his years at Halmann Vella he also gained industry expertise through overseas training opportunities, quarry and supplier visits, participation in conferences and expos, and various other on-site visits.
