Halmann Vella showroom in Lija gets face lift and extension
The Group, whose name is synonymous with quality marble and granite materials, have expanded their offering in tandem with enlarging their showroom floor space to showcase their locally manufactured and imported products, says Chief Commercial Officer, Owen Farrugia.
Halmann Vella Group have renovated and expanded their premises in Lija, in order to better showcase their burgeoning range of products, which are being widened to better meet the demands of the commercial and consumer markets.
“At Halmann Vella we work and collaborate closely with Malta’s top architects and designers. Through the renovations, which will allow us to display a wide range of products, we will be providing a unique experience ,” attests, the Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Owen Farrugia.
“Marble and natural stone, which we have been proudly supplying the market with for more than 65 years, remain our core products.. Indeed, our Terrazzo products, which we manufacture in-house and which we have been exporting for use in schools, train stations, supermarkets and offices, amongst others, are today displayed in large format slabs in a dedicated area within our showroom” adds Mr Farrugia.
Halmann Vella are now introducing ceramic slabs, as well as launching premium quality bathroom wares. The CCO said: “We dedicated a whole new space to display bathroom products, including sanitary-ware and faucets created by top Italian brands AXA and Alpi.” The products also include a new range of Italian vanity sets, produced by AXA, a firm which is known for its quality artisanship and use of technological innovations in its bathroom designs.
Moreover, “since we have seen a growth in clients’ needs, we have dedicated an area just for kitchen tops with a collection of quartz and ceramic large format slabs in a wide variety of colours, textures and thicknesses”.
These changes were driven by a specific need to address changes in the market, Mr Farrugia specified, saying that “through the expansion and re-design of our showroom we are better meeting customer needs and market trends.”
Elaborating on the evolution of the firm, Mr Farrugia attests that “the Halmann Vella Group has been growing and expanding its range of products. We are the exclusive suppliers for Silestone when it comes to quartz; Dekton, as an engineered surface; and Infinity, for large ceramic slabs; as well as other ceramic brands such as Keope, and Marca Corona.” The Group’s latest addition to their wide range of brands is Mirage, a high-end porcelain stoneware used for indoor and outdoor or bathroom design.
Owen Farrugia, a long-standing member of the executive team, has worked with Halmann Vella for over 20 years. During his career he has undertaken a number of roles in operations, sales and marketing before recently being appointed as Chief Commercial Officer for Retail, which will bring together operations and sales for Retail customers and projects.
