Edward’s Lowell’s Boutiques

Edwards Lowell Portomaso flooring – large 2m x 1m slabs of Ariostea.

Edwards Lowell Concept Store – Portomaso Marina

For the renovation of this luxurious space, which merges lifestyle, art, design, books, watches and jewellery, we sourced and installed large 2m x 1m slabs of Ariostea. Ariostea flooring, ultramodern fixtures and bright natural light pouring in from the sizeable apertures play an impeccable framework for the carefully-curated pieces within. The essence of The Concept Store fuses contemporary design with timeless elegance, a playground for those who seek out impeccable taste and style, beautifully designed by DPMSeanArrigo. Townhouse in Valletta

A large screen of Patagonia marble cut and installed in book-match, acts as a backdrop to the large marble dining table by Mangiarotti, shielding the food preparation and cooking space from view.

Marble takes centre stage in this 19th century Palazzo’s story. Located in Valletta on St. Ursula Street and badly damaged during the war, this building is now a beautiful private home. A large screen of Patagonia marble cut and installed in book-match, acts as a backdrop to the large marble dining table by Mangiarotti, shielding the food preparation and cooking space from view. Zebrino Marble covers the wall and the inner side of the door of the bathrooms. Customised bathroom sink in Bianco Sivec is carved from solid marble. The main staircase of this prestige townhouse has been clad in Tundra Grey marble, a smooth contrast to the exposed stoneworks. Architecture & Structural Engineering: AP Valletta Ltd. Design Team Lead: Rosanne Asciak. M&E Engineering: Scicluna & Associates Ltd. Photography: Luis Rodríguez López. See full project

Baystreet Shopping Centre and Be.Hotel

Be.Hotel at the Baystreet Shopping Centre.

A relaxing stay from the very beginning. That’s the feel Carlo Schembri wanted to give to the reception at Be.Hotel Malta. 68 square meters of parquet tiles in Gardenia Orchidea complement the wooden backdrop, creating a well-defined space in conjunction with the white soffit ceiling. 360 square meters of Arisostea 1.2×0.6m white tiles make for a soft, embracing atmosphere, and are also featured in corridors, lift lobbies and bathrooms for an all-rounded hotel experience. Baystreet re-flooring

Finishing a project up to the highest standards and on time is not the easiest task in the midst of a pandemic. But the Halmann Vella team worked around the clock to finish a total area of 200sqm of flooring for Baystreet Shopping Complex.  Essential geometries for the external tiling in BSP Grey and Piombo, and a centrepiece on Level 2 made in Macchia Perta by Infinity Surfaces. Designed by Carlo Schembri. See full project

Deep Nature Spa at the Phoenicia

Deep Nature Spa at the Phoenicia

The calming aura of the Deep Nature Spa at the Phoenicia was brought about by utilising gold and brass accents across the spa and by mimicking the colours of the tranquil water in the green and blue glass mosaic tiles in the showering area. The calming whites, aesthetic blues and warm woods add to the definitive look of the spa. Designed by AP Valletta. See full project
